Biography
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with Innovative Alternatives. She has over 10 years of experience in a variety of mental health roles and settings including community-based and office-based services. She has been treating clients with IA for years and previously worked as an intern with the agency. She also supervises associate therapists as they work towards full licensure.
She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns. Her area of expertise is in trauma, PTSD, and First Responders. Her experience includes working with firefighters, police, paramedics/EMS, veterans, victims of mass casualty events, human trafficking, suicide, abuse, family violence, victims of crimes, grief/loss, persistent mental illness, and many other clinical concerns. Some of her treatment modalities include: Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy- Insomnia (CBT-I), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Human Therapy
